The URV and the FURV, attendees at the Forum on Education Abroad

This conference is held in different venues in the USA every year. It has also been held twice in Europe, once in Dublin in 2012 and once in Barcelona in 2014. Greece will host the 3rd annual conference in 2016
The URV, represented by the International Center and the FURV, was present at the 12th Annual Forum on Education Abroad that was held 6-8 April in Atlanta (USA). Under the motto Navigating the Intersections: The Cultures of Education Abroad, the conference welcomed 1,375 attendees from 41 countries and 45 U.S. states. This edition sought to address such issues as the challenges for organizations and professionals involved in education abroad when helping students navigate the intersections between different national identities, learning models, values, disciplines, languages, traditions and institutions, and the skills they need to navigate through these intersections.
The URV representatives had the opportunity to attend sessions on educational issues and meet partners not only from the US but also from Australia, Latin America and Asia.
