The URV will present its postgraduate and doctoral courses for the 2018-19 academic year at the 4th Postgraduate Expo Fair, which will take place at the Chamber of Commerce of Lima on 25 and 26 May from 10.00 to 20.00.

Postgraduate Expo is a space where members of the public can find out about the courses offered by educational institutions by talking to them directly and asking questions before choosing a particular postgraduate course or specialisation. Questions typically concern which type of programme is most suited to their needs, which career opportunities are available, how much the course costs, who teaches it, and whether there are any agreements with companies.

The URV has already participated in international postgraduate fairs in Peru, the last time being two years ago. The 4th Postgraduate Expo Fair is aimed specifically at Peruvian graduates and reflects their growing interest in continuing their university education abroad, not only for the training they receive but also for the opportunity to live among and experience other cultures. A large number of Peruvian students study at the URV each year.

On this occasion, the URV’s stand will be represented by Daniel Ramírez, a Peruvian student at the University who holds a doctorate in Anthropology and Communication and Master’s Degree in Urban Anthropology, Migrations and Social Interventions. He will give a presentation on the URV and explain what took him to Tarragona to study there. He will also describe is academic and personal experience at the URV. The presentation of the URV will take place on 26 May at 15.00 and will last 50 minutes.

Pre-registration for the URV’s university master’s degrees is open and anyone interested will be able to register during the fair.

The URV also promoted its postgraduate and doctoral courses for the coming year at the QS Grad School Tour, which travelled to Quito, Bogota and Mexico City last February.
