The International Student Conference 2023 was held at Universitas <\/span>Katolik<\/span> Parahyangan<\/span> (Indonesia) from 3 to 7 January 2023. The URV professors who participated in the International Student Conference (ISC) and taught some workshops were Ferran Ma\u00f1\u00e9, from the Department of Economics, and Immaculada Rosell, from the Department of History and History of Art. Three students from the university also participated: Adrian Alles, Nerea Perales and Ana <\/span>Pastor, two of whom were members of the groups that won the prize for the final projects.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Immaculada Rosell was in charge of giving the workshop <\/span><\/span>Solutions to Promote Education and <\/span>Labor<\/span> Market Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities in Ordinary Environments<\/span><\/span>, which encouraged the participants to explore possible solutions to promote inclusion in education and in the workplace.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, Ferran Ma\u00f1\u00e9 <\/span>gave<\/span> the workshop <\/span><\/span>MSME as <\/span>a<\/span> Post-pandemic Lifeline<\/span><\/span>, about the importance of micro, small and medium enterprises<\/span>,<\/span> understanding the difficulties they face and how to overcome them. The participants were asked to form groups and come up with a project design as a solution to the difficulties raised during the workshop.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The International Student Conference is an annual event organized by the Office for International Affairs and Cooperation of <\/span>Parahyangan<\/span> Catholic University (UNPAR)<\/span>.<\/span> It<\/span> aims to provide a research platform for students around the world <\/span>with a variety of<\/span> learning methods. During the ISC, there were two lectures, nine workshops, two visits and two cultural activities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>he reports that the attending students of the URV <\/span>submitted clearly shows that they felt<\/span> that the event had a positive impact<\/span>. One of the students <\/span>pointed out that<\/span> “INU is a network that connects <\/span>both <\/span>universities and people”, <\/span>while <\/span>others <\/span>mention<\/span> good practices such as <\/span>how well organized the<\/span> students<\/span> were<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The theme of the conference, \u201cInclusivity and Accessibility to Welfare and Sustainable Living <\/span>a<\/span>fter the Pandemic\u201d, combined with cultural elements of the region, generated a suitable environment to <\/span>provide greater insight into<\/span> intercultural learning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
