The <\/span><\/span>Universitat <\/span><\/span><\/span>Rovira <\/span><\/span>i <\/span><\/span><\/span>Virgili <\/span><\/span>has renewed the European distinction of excellence in Human Resources in research for the second time. Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is a distinction that certifies that the institution hires researchers <\/span><\/span>in compliance with<\/span><\/span><\/span> the recommendations of the European Charter for Researchers and that they <\/span><\/span>are given<\/span><\/span><\/span> the necessary conditions to do research <\/span>in accordance with<\/span> this commitment. The URV has had this seal since 2015 and has renewed it twice. <\/span><\/span>This<\/span><\/span><\/span> shows, <\/span><\/span>that it is an institution committed to carrying out fair recruitment practices and <\/span>providing<\/span> attractive opportunities for <\/span><\/span>their <\/span><\/span><\/span>career<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The European Commission has adopted the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.\u202fHuman Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) <\/span>provides<\/span> institutions <\/span>with support so that they can<\/span>\u00a0implement the policies and practices set out in the Charter and the Code.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In practice, the seal is a guarantee that the institution has processes in place and works to foster a favourable working environment for research, support the professional development of researchers, provide the best possible working conditions, promote equality, and improve the quality of research. At the same time, the seal also certifies that the URV follows open, transparent, and merit-based selection procedures.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
