It is aimed at potential students who are interested in beginning a degree course. The URV was the only Spanish university to attend.<\/p>\n<p>From 25 to 27 October, Joan J. Carvajal, vice-dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and Tit\u00f3n Sancho, member of the Master\u2019s Support Office, provided attendees with information on the bachelor\u2019s courses on offer at the URV and in particular the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Chemistry taught entirely in English (20 places). Since creating the new English-taught chemistry degree, the faculty has identified the United Arab Emirates as a potential source of students for the new degree in chemistry, which has been offered for the first time during the current academic year and has 17 students registered from the Tarragona region.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35211\" aria-labelledby=\"figcaption_attachment_35211\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 903px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/diaridigital.urv.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/firabudhabi174.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-35211 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/diaridigital.urv.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/firabudhabi174.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"903\" height=\"627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/diaridigital.urv.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/firabudhabi174.jpg 903w, https:\/\/diaridigital.urv.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/firabudhabi174-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/diaridigital.urv.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/firabudhabi174-768x533.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 903px) 100vw, 903px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"figcaption_attachment_35211\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Joan Josep Carvajal and Tit\u00f3n Sancho, with some of the visitors to the fair.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>During the fair there were informative seminars, including one by Joan J. Carvajal on the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Chemistry taught in English by lecturers who are participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.urv.cat\/blog\/blog\/2016\/04\/21\/pla-dang-de-la-urv\/\">Pla Dang<\/a> (Teaching in English Plan). Students interested in this course for the 2018-19 academic year can pre-register by applying to the Catalan Government independently of the Chemistry Degree taught in Catalan and Spanish.
