The Universitat Rovira i Virgili has announced the call for Master’s Degree Grants for the 2018-19 academic year. Students have until 20 June to apply for a total of 51 grants, which will exempt students from paying registration fees for subjects they are taking for the first time.<\/p>\n
The URV Master’s Degree Grants are intended to cover the cost of registration for new students who have pre-registered for a master’s degree for the next academic year. Students who are awarded a grant will only have to pay the administrative fees. The grant covers a maximum of 60 credits during the first year and, in the case of 90 or 120 credit master’s degrees, the cost of registration in the second year up to a maximum of 30 or 60 credits respectively. In addition, the grant includes a travel allowance of 1,000 euros for international students.<\/p>\n
The University\u2019s intention, therefore, is to offer access to master’s studies for students with excellent academic records and curriculums.<\/p>\n
In addition to the 51 URV Master’s Degree Grants, nine grants are also available for students who have completed their undergraduate studies at one of the member universities of the Ibero-American University Association for Postgraduate Studies (AUIP in its Spanish initials). The AUIP Master’s Degree Grants also exempt students from tuition fees.<\/p>\n
Students have until 15 May to register for Master’s Degrees for the coming academic year. A total of 54 degrees as well as 40 URV-specific degrees are offered.<\/p>\n
