The URV is one of three Spanish institutions to have been awarded funding in the latest call and the one to have received the highest amount of funding (four million euros). The other two institutions are the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Fundació Institut Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona, which were awarded approximately one million euros each.

This is not the first time that the URV has been in such a good position.
