Spanish language teacher. His research focuses, on the one hand, on pedagogical lexicography, through the development of new digital tools that favor language learning; and, on the other, on historical lexicography, especially through the study of the sports lexicon. He is also a leading figure in the field of teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Before joining the URV, he was a teacher of Spanish language and translation at the University of Oxford.
