Maria Bras Amorós

Her research focuses on the reliable transmission of information: error correction codes that remove errors from messages or at least detect if there have been any errors. She also studies complex mathematical structures using algebraic and computational combinatorial techniques to count and analyze abstract objects.
She is also an expert in the relation between mathematics and music, and in teaching and learning mathematics at an early age.
