She is an expert in the relationship between food, lifestyle, the environment and human health, especially obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment and dementia, all of which are related to healthy ageing. Her research focuses on nutrition and precision medicine and seeks and identifies new mechanisms and target molecules for improving health.
