The international programmes' representatives gathered to discuss Erasmus+ mobility
The prestigious Gorniczo-Hutnicza im. Stanislawa Staszica w Krakowie Academy was the venue for the joint meeting between Campus Iberus and the Erasmus+ EU4EU program. From June 7th to 9th, 2023, representatives from European educational institutions gathered to discuss and promote student mobility in internships within the framework of ERASMUS+.
The event brought together managers, professors, and researchers from various disciplines who shared experiences and knowledge on the internationalization of internships in higher education. The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen the ties between participating universities and foster collaboration in European projects related to this network specialized in facilitating students’ integration into the professional world. During the sessions, a series of keynote lectures were delivered by experts from each national network (Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, and also from Poland). The topics addressed included the improvement of the EU4EU program and strategies to enhance the employability of international students.
In addition to the lectures, workshops and roundtable discussions were organized, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and debate on topics of common interest, with a view to new Blended Intensive Programme and ERASMUS KA2 cooperation projects.
The meeting in Krakow allowed for the establishment of new contacts and the strengthening of existing alliances among participating universities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives from Campus Iberus and EU4EU expressed their satisfaction with the results achieved and emphasized the importance of continuing to work together to promote the internationalization of higher education in Europe.
