The Universitat Rovira i Virgili received a visit from Hakima Fassi-Fihri, director of International Relations at the International University of Rabat (Morocco) on 4 November. The URV and UIR (under its French acronym) have already signed a memorandum of understanding and both are looking forward to establishing strong and fruitful links in various disciplines such as architecture, engineering, computer science, law, tourism, management and finance.

At the beginning of June the URV’s Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Mar Gutiérrez-Colón, visited this new and very active university in Rabat and was highly impressed with its potential and the many avenues of possible collaboration between the two institutions. The return visit by Ms Fassi-Fihri indicates the universities’ mutual commitment to this partnership and has led to many important meetings aimed at bringing both institutions closer together in this mutually beneficial collaboration.
