A delegation from Bath Spa University, led by Charlotte Cooper, Global Exchange Advisor, visited Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) on May 22nd, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaborations and discuss topics of mutual interest, particularly in the areas of mobility, English studies, and economics and business studies.

The day began with a warm welcome and a visit to the Campus Catalunya at the Faculty of Arts. Cooper had a meeting with Nune Ayvazyan, the mobility coordinator of the Department of English and German Studies. They discussed opportunities for student exchanges and cooperation between the two institutions.

Following the visit to Campus Catalunya, the delegation proceeded to the Campus Sescelades, specifically the I-Center, which serves as the hub for international mobility at URV. Nuria Golobardes, the I-Center Mobility General Coordinator, Georgina Grau, the I-Center Incoming Mobility Coordinator, and Jordi Albino from the MOU Unit greeted the delegation. They engaged in fruitful discussions about various aspects of mobility programs and the potential for collaboration between Bath Spa University and URV.

After the meeting at the I-Center, the delegation made their way to the Campus Bellisens in Reus, where they visited the Faculty of Economics and Business. They had the opportunity to meet with the mobility coordinator, Albert Fonts. The discussions revolved around potential academic exchanges in the field of economics and business studies.

The visit of Bath Spa University to Universitat Rovira i Virgili was a valuable opportunity to explore collaboration possibilities and strengthen ties between the two institutions. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the productive discussions and looked forward to further enhancing their partnership in the future.
