The Faculty of Economics and Business at the URV has had a mobility agreement with Cornell University since 2013

On 20 April, the URV was visited by Tamara S.B. Ingram, mobility coordinator at Cornell University (USA). During her visit, she met the student mobility coordinator of the FEE, Albert Fonts, the promoters of the agreement with Cornell, Mireia Valverde and Gerard Ryan, and staff of the I-Center of the URV, and visited the URV’s campuses and various places of cultural interest in Reus, Salou, Cambrils and Tarragona.

Her visit was part of a larger trip to Europe to visit partner institutions of Cornell University, of whom the URV is one. The URV’s relationship with Cornell began several years ago when members of the departments of Economics and Business Administration carried out research visits at Cornell, which in turn led to a mobility agreement between the two institutions. Since 2013 a total of 9 URV students have visited Cornell, with 10 Cornell students visiting the URV in return.

The visit enabled the representatives of Cornell to get to know the URV and review the current situation with a view to implementing new and improved future collaborations.
