Meeting between the Catalan-Russian Association and the Vice-rector for Internationalization

The Association wishes to collaborate more closely with the URV

On Monday 18 January the Vice-rector for Internationalisation received a visit from Mr Mikhail Medvedev, President of the Catalan-Russian Association for Scientific and Cultural Cooperation (ACR in its Catalan acronym). This ACR is based in the Tarragona region and actively promotes cultural and linguistic activities in order to introduce Catalans to Russian culture, language and customs. They offer Russian Language classes and many cultural activities open to all. There are some very interesting scholarships for students to go and study in Russia at all levels of higher education (bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, postgraduate and summer language courses). You can find more information at: http://www.urv.cat/mobility/info_util_RU.html

You can also contact the ACR for assistance in submitting an application to these grants at: www.ruscat.cat or info@ruscat.cat

In the near future URV will sign a cooperation agreement with the ACR.
