The CRAI campus Catalunya exhibits “Typewriters”

The permanent exhibition revolves around two unique typewriters given to the CRAI by URV faculty

Typewriters with Greek and Latin characters given to the CRAI by professors Joana Zaragoza and Antoni González Senmartí.

URV professors Joana Zaragoza and Antoni González Senmartí have given two typewriters to the CRAI campus Catalunya, which allow writing in both Greek and Latin characters. In particular, they are an Amaya model machine and an IBM Selectric machine, introduced to the market in 1961.

The two typewriters will be on display from this July as a permanent exhibition on the lower level of the CRAI campus Catalunya.

The exhibition is accompanied by more information on both typewriters and other secondary objects related to the world of typing.
