Scientific experts from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia teach in this Master

For 2020/2021, new possibilities to follow the courses online are being developed. If necessary (due to COVID19), all the courses will be online. Although not necessary, the Faculty of Chemistry is working to permit to follow the master courses online except the Master Thesis and some practice work. The Master Thesis would be performed in the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) or Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) laboratories, from March to July.

Quality

This master is the only one in this field that has been recognized by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU) with the accreditation quality seal of Excellence in addition to the accreditation of the research-teaching linkage also with excellence. In the discipline of Chemistry URV is the first State University and the only one in the top 100 according to Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2019.

Scholarships

For the course 2020/2021, about 16 scholarships will be provided from research groups of URV and ICIQ. The grants cover the fees of master and part of other costs. Additionally, there is one more grant offered by the URV, with a call now opened that finishes June 15th. Pre-enrolment in the master is required to ask for the grants.
