The event brought together representatives of Spanish and Portuguese universities who are members of the International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP) with the United States

The meeting was held on 27 and 28 October in the Conference Room of the URV’s Catalunya Campus and debated topics relating to increasing the numbers of American mobility students and the differences between various educational systems.

The meeting was presided over by representatives of the URV’s International Center and organisers from the ISEP and brought together representatives from the offices of international relations of the Universidad de Vigo, Universidad de Murcia, Universidad de Almería, Universidad Pública de Navarra, Universitat de les Illes Balears, Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

The event was highly fruitful because it offered an opportunity to discuss various issues that affect all the universities connected with the programme and to share good practices through debates and presentations. The participants were also able to get to know first-hand the Catalunya Campus and the city of Tarragona.

It was agreed that the next meeting would be held in April 2018 in Lisbon.
