Undergraduate, master’s and PhD students of Nursing will be able to stay at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University

The agreements between the URV and the Chinese university will also allow the mobility of the faculty staff and clinical internships

The URV and the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU), China, have signed an agreement that will allow undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students and Faculty of Nursing teaching staff from the URV to travel to the Chinese university. The collaboration between both institutions was formalised when the head of the Faculty and the head of the Department of Nursing, Roser Ricomà and María Jiménez, respectively, visited the ZCMU in mid-March.

The visit enabled them to learn about the University, the teaching staff and the facilities where the URV students will undertake their clinical internships, where students will be accommodated. They also finalised the details and the mobility agreement and held meetings with the intention of discussing the different research lines for future collaborations.

The heads of the Faculty of Nursing presented different bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and postgraduate teaching programmes and explained the functioning of the Catalan health system.

The vice-president of the ZCMU, Guo Quing, and the dean of the Faculty of Nursing of the URV, Roser Ricomà, on behalf of the rector, María José Figueras, signed this collaboration agreement in Hanzhou, China, on 13 March. They were accompanied by the dean of the School of Nursing of the ZCMU, Guijuan He; the heads of the International Office of the ZCMU, Gina Wang and Allan Jian-Feng Jiang; and the head of the Department of Nursing of the URV, María Jiménez.
