On 16 October, the Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences and Psychology, Luís Marqués, and the mobility coordinators of Social Education, Maite Novo and Cristina Valls, received a visit from Kulkänti Barboza, representative of the Münster University of Applied Sciences and professor of education specialising in aesthetics and communication. Barboza was accompanied by the vice-rector for International Policy of the Universitat de Girona, Jörg Zimmer.
The meeting resulted in a proposal to establish a mobility agreement for teaching and research staff in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme, with the aim of fostering academic collaboration between both institutions and potentially leading to future cooperation in the ambit of research.
The visit also included a meeting at the Faculty of Legal Sciences with the mobility coordinator, Aitana de la Varga, and the head of Social Work studies, Victòria Forns. Finally, the visitors travelled to Amposta to visit the University School of Health and Sport, where they met its director, Xavier Nadal, and the mobility coordinator, Pau Cecilia.
