The Faculty of Chemistry of the URV offers a dynamical and updated program based on theoretical and practical work delivered in English, recognized with the accreditation quality seal of Excellent by the Agency for the Quality assurance of the Catalan University System.

URV is the best university to study the Degree in Chemistry in Spain, according to the U-ranking of Spanish universities 2017. Recently, the Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry has been also accredited “with quality” for the “Interaction of research and teaching”. This means that the research performed by our teachers is reflected in the teaching program of the degree.

Teaching is based on a personalized follow up and tutoring thanks to our low student-to-teacher ratio. The program will provide you with a firm theoretical basis of chemistry, together with the necessary practical application and laboratory work. The program will allow you to get skilled in teamwork, written and oral communication proficiency and critical thinking through discussions and complex problem solving. At the end of the degree, you can choose among a set of eligible courses to adapt it to your desired profile.
