URV’s intranet now includes a section designed to streamline and enhance access to comprehensive information about the university’s international activities.
More specifically, a new International section has been added under the More URV area in both staff and student profiles. The aim is to increase the visibility of URV’s international initiatives and provide easier access to essential information tailored to the profile of each member of the university community.
Students can now directly access resources such as mobility opportunities, a new Telegram channel to stay informed of updates, ways to get involved in international life at URV, and contact details for the mobility coordinators at each school or faculty.
Staff, for their part, can access procedures for participating in inter-institutional mobility agreements, along with a range of resources related to Internationalisation at Home (IaH), such as curriculum internationalisation, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and calls for proposals to organise Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) at URV. This section also includes information on international projects and strategy, as well as the various mobility opportunities available to URV staff.
The Mobility Management tab in the Administration section of the intranet provides access to the MoveON platform. This facilitates the work of administrative staff and mobility coordinators, who now have the platform link readily available. They also have direct access to a shared space where they can find resources, guides, training materials, and working documents to help them carry out their tasks more efficiently and effectively.
MoveON is fully cloud-based solution developed by QS that centralises all URV’s international mobility and collaboration activities. Through this platform mobility agreements, strategic partnerships, and student and staff exchange processes are managed and grants and financial aid are administered. MoveON also connects with the Erasmus Without Papers platform, a European Commission initiative designed to unify data exchange in the field of international mobility. Ongoing efforts are being made to fully leverage the platform’s functionalities in order to improve processes, automate tasks, and streamline communication with users and mobility participants.
