Publicacions URV is participating in the Internet Archive international repository

More than 475 books from the editorial catalogue can be consulted in open access

Publicacions URV is the first publisher in Spain and in the Xarxa Vives network to collaborate with Internet Archive by offering its whole catalogue of monographs for open access. More than 475 titles from all areas of knowledge published by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili from 1994 to the present can be consulted and downloaded in full.

Internet Archive is a digital library created in 1996 and managed by a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving archives, digital content from public web sites, multimedia resources and software. It houses a large number of audio, video and text files, the vast majority of which are in the public domain or have Creative Commons type licenses that allow free distribution, thanks to collaborators such as the Library of Congress and many other public and private libraries. After Wikipedia, it is the most visited Internet portal in the .org or non-profit group.

In addition to having more than seven million monographs, the Internet Archive Scholar project collects the metadata of more than 25 million scientific articles, including those in the journals published by Publicacions URV.
