The first URV Festival: a great success

The URV has arranged the first virtual fair of International Collaborative Learning Online (COIL). The fair is intended for teachers of the Aurora network who want to implement the methodology and internationalize their subjects
Xènia Roviralta is a student at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She is 24 years old and is in the final year of her degree in Food Bioprocess Engineering. She is also a representative on the Aurora Student Council, which gives support and advises the senior management of the universities that are part of the Aurora network to promote the common objectives.
The meeting that set the project in motion was held at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, which coordinates two work teams.
Aurora’s biannual meeting, which was attended by more than 120 representatives from eleven European universities belonging to the Aurora European multicampus, debated which skills and competences university students should have and how universities should foster internationalization
More than 120 members of the leadership teams, researchers, administrative and service staff and students will meet at the URV in one of the two annual meetings of the Aurora consortium. Previously, a group of 30 university students will take part in a session to define how a meaningful international experience can be guaranteed for all Aurora students
The Service Learning Toolbox is now in the public domain. It provides relevant information, tools and resources in order to improve and extend the use of the Service Learning method
Maria Guasch Bové and Carmen Alicia Yáez González are students of the URV who have participated in an open international webinar of Aurora network about Artificial Intelligence. They have been trained by international teachers and have developed an educational app with students from foreign countries
This Thursday, 1 July, is the first day for applications for each one of the three editions of the programme: standard, with 28 contracts; COFUND, with 20, and Banco Santander, with 13. The deadline for applications is 6 September 2021
