The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is seeking to form an alliance between four Russian universities and four universities from Spain, including the URV. The ultimate objectives of the alliance will be to offer double degrees and promote joint research.

The Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Mar Gutiérrez-Colón, was in Moscow from 29 January to 3 February to explore the possibility of joining the alliance of Russian and Spanish universities and to meet various other universities to discuss collaboration in teaching and research. The meetings were held during the Vice-Rector’s visit to the National University of Science and Technology MISIS in Moscow during its 100th anniversary celebrations, where she presented the URV’s internationalisation policy during a round table.
