The visit helped to strengthen the links between both universities
A delegation from York St John University (GB) consisting of Andreea Voica, head of the Study Abroad unit and exchange coordinator, and Professor Beverly Geesin, of the School of Languages and Linguistics visited the URV on 20 and 21 February. The aim of the visit was to reinforce the links within the frame of the existing Erasmus+ agreement between the two institutions. The delegation was received by representatives of the Department of English and German Studies, the Language Service and the Learning and Research Resources Centre. They also visited the International Center and the Sant Jordi university residence to learn about the services that the URV provides for exchange students.
At the I-Center they were received by the International Strategy Unit and, after introductions and presentations by both universities, they had a working meeting with Georgina Grau and Núria Golobardes, who are responsible for incoming and outgoing mobility students at the URV, with the aim of improving collaboration with the URV. During the meeting the parties exchanged good practices regarding the management of student mobility.
