The ranking 150 under 50 by Times Higher Education has put the URV in 83rd position in the list of the 150 best universities in the world under the age of fifty. It is the third year running that URV has featured in this ranking, which has been conducted since 2012

This summer three Study Abroad programmes will take place in the month of July. North-American professors will carry out a summer course in Spanish at the Catalunya campus, and students from the Northeastern University of Boston will do a course in Chemical Engineering at the CTTI and visit locally-based chemical companies. Visit of Cairo University to URV
Fatma Ashour, from Cairo University, visited the URV on 21 January. The aim of the visit was to move forward in various academic projects with the School of Engineering (ETSE) and the School of Chemical Engineering (ETSEQ). Cairo University and URV have been cooperating closely for many years
The JEDI-ACE project (Japanese-European De-Icing Aircraft Collaborative Exploration) is a joint R+D programme between Europe and Japan that studies how to detect, prevent and eliminate the build-up of ice on certain parts of aircraft.
