From today to 15 September applications can be made for the 17 places on the María Zambrano international talent recruitment programme, the 32 places on the Margarita Salas programme for young doctors and the programme for requalifying university teaching staff by encouraging mobility, which will be offering 9 grants
This Thursday, 1 July, is the first day for applications for each one of the three editions of the programme: standard, with 28 contracts; COFUND, with 20, and Banco Santander, with 13. The deadline for applications is 6 September 2021

Jennifer Masip will present the paper at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, which brings together more than 4000 leading researchers in HIV from almost 90 countries. Ms Masip is a member of the Infection and Immunity Research Group of the Joan XXIII University Hospital in Tarragona, the Pere Virgili Health Research Institute and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
The selection process took place between January and February and about 20 candidates have already signed their contracts with the University. In total, 71 new doctoral students from 19 countries all over the world will be starting work. Their theses will be supervised by almost 100 lecturers
The results and recommendations are based on the analysis of a pilot course on robotics-training for educators at URV’s Faculty of Educational Sciences and Psychology and other previous documented experiences. Holding this kind of training sessions during university studies and professional practice improve educators’ digital skills and knowledge, and also the quality and impact of classroom activities.

However, the construction industry that leads the development of nZEB is facing challenges to guarantee its performance. One study led by researchers from the URV in cooperation with TNO has created a diagnostic tool that uses minimal monitoring data to assess and guarantee nZEB performance
The applications are for the Martí i Franquès programme, both in its standard format and the MSCA-COFUND version, and they are from 60 and 90 different countries respectively. The individuals chosen will join the University between December this year and April 2021
