The event forms part of the Welcome Days, the URV’s programme for welcoming international students at the start of the academic year and introducing them to Catalan culture
This year’s edition dealt with diversity and plurality in the Hispanic world and brought together more than 140 specialists from nine countries.
A total of 13% of URV students are international. Some are on a mobility programme from another university, an experience that they live intensely.

The URV welcomes international students
More than 300 students have come to the University this year through mobility programmes
A URV delegation headed by the rector has visited the Asian country for the 80th anniversary celebrations of Yunnan Normal University and to promote student and academic staff mobility and collaboration in teaching and research
This semester the URV will receive 780 international students onto its bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and mobility programmes, a figure that has continued to grow in recent years
