The URV Festival repeats its success
The performances by Tremenda Jauría, LesQueFaltaBand and DJ Trapella ended a day full of activities for thousands of participants

A total of 13% of URV students are international. Some are on a mobility programme from another university, an experience that they live intensely.
The University, which has taught a ground-breaking educational programme for Chinese-speaking students, celebrates the Chinese New Year with workshops and performances.
Students have the right to be taught mainly in Catalan, to attend classes that are taught in the language announced and to have introductory Catalan courses if they are newcomers
The event is part of the Welcome Days, the URV’s welcome to international students arriving at the beginning of the academic year
The rectors of the Catalan Association of Public Universities ask the EU member states to approve the official status of Catalan in the European institutions, in line with Catalan recently being accepted on the Erasmus platform
The purpose of the residency was to provide students with a conducive environment away from home (UK) to focus on writing their dissertations
Catalan universities and the Department of Research and Universities are working on helping new students and researchers from outside the Catalan language domain
The event is part of the Welcome Days, the URV’s welcome to international students arriving for the second semester
